Now, I know everyone gauges their health by their weight. Tsk, tsk, people. Our body is a slow working machine and cannot be forced to lose weight as quickly as we want. If you are losing significant amounts of weight and aren't doing it via a healthy lifestyle-- you're doing it wrong. The main control-- especially for women, on your weight is your hormones. Fast dieting doesn't give them time to adjust, so the minute you slack off, your body goes back to square one. The first thing we want to change is our mindset of what is healthy.
Healthy is not what you weigh, it's how you feel.
You can be skinny and feel horrible. Skinny people can have acne, trouble digesting, bad gas, bad hair, you name it, just because you're lighter in body weight doesn't mean you're healthy.
Let's work towards being content with our self image until we can fix up the messes inside.:) This will ensure a healthier way of living and when you do lose weight, it will stay off as long as you stick to it.
Have a happy Wednesday!
